DETAILED PROPERTY DESCRIPTION & AMENITIES​

The individual retreat cubicle is just for you and nobody else. Its door locks from inside and outside. Its walls are not going all the way up to the ceiling. The cubicle has a power outlet and is nicely air-conditioned. It has access to a communal bathroom/shower/sink and a common lounge/breakfast area​


Fresh, clean sheets, pillows, towels, blankets provided ​


The communal bathroom has multiple private shower cabins, private toilet cabins, and sinks. It's kept clean and tidy. Body/hair wash, hand soap provided 


The common lounge/breakfast area has a breakfast counter, refrigerator, microwave, filtered hot/cold/room temperature water dispenser, toaster. No stove and no sink​


The cubicle room has a platform bed (75'' long and 45'' wide), a bed-side desk and a shelf. Luggage storage space underneath the platform bed. A power outlet in each cubicle. Each floor has 25 individual cubicles. We are booked at full capacity most of the time​

POLICIES AND RULES

A valid government-issued photo ID and a valid credit card with the guest's legal name required to reserve and check-in. No exceptions​


Absolutely no bikes, electric bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards, electric hover-boards allowed anywhere in the building. Bringing any of the above items will result in an immediate termination of your stay. 


​Please, limit talking on the phone to bare minimum and keep voice down while in the cubicle or common areas. No talking or making noise allowed during the quiet hours (from 8.30PM to 8.30AM EST).

Any person who acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner, disturbs other guests or staff, destroys or threatens to destroy our property, or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses, or is unable to pay for the accommodations or services will not be allowed to check in and will be turned away.

Age restriction: 18+, no children allowed 

No unregistered guests, strictly one guest per cubicle​

No pets or service animals ​


No smoking/vaping/alcohol​

Strictly vegetarian: no meat/fish/egg products allowed. Milk products are OK​

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservation may be cancelled and/or stay may be terminated by the property at its discretion at any moment in case of violation of these rules and policies, terms and conditions


Maximum length of stay is 28 consecutive nights in any given 30 days. We will not accept and immediately cancel consecutive reservations that add up to more than 28 consecutive nights.


A reservation from any individual who is known to us to have caused troubles to us or our guests in the past will be immediately cancelled.

Full refund 5 or more days prior to arrival. Partial refund less than 5 days prior to arrival. No refund for non-refundable rates and in case of no show​


Violation of any of the above rules and policies, terms and conditions will result in an immediate termination of the violator's reservation and their removal from the premises without a refund

DIRECTIONS FROM LOCAL AIRPORTS  ✈

JFK, EWR (Newark Liberty), LGA

JFK ✈

The easiest way to come here from JFK airport is by taking a taxi (or Uber). The cost is about $75-65. IMPORTANT:

     Avoid private transportation offers from strangers. Only use yellow cabs or authorized airport shuttles.

     You may also like to book a shuttle van/bus service to Manhattan at https://www.goairlinkshuttle.com.


      It's also possible to come here from JFK by subway ($2.90). It takes about 70-80 minutes to get here from JFK by subway. To come here from JFK airport by subway, here are some directions for you:


First, obviously, get off your plane. (Whether you come by taxi or by subway, it's a very important step to first get off your plane). Then, go out of the airport terminal. Right in front of your airport terminal you will see an "air-train" station. Get on the air-train. The air-train goes in a big circle  all-the-way-around JFK airport. Then the air-train stops at the "Jamaica-Sutphin Boulevard" station. The air-train costs $8.25. When the air train stops at the Jamaica-Sutphin Boulevard station, get-off the air-train.


Then go inside the New York City subway system. The subway station you need is called Sutphin Boulevard. Inside the Sutphin Boulevard subway station, get on the "E" train going toward Manhattan. Make sure you don't take the "E" train going away from Manhattan. Take the "E" train going into Manhattan). Just ask someone:  "Is this "E" train going into Manhattan?" Stay on the "E" train until you get to the "34 Street Penn Station" station (24 stops, 40 minutes). Get off the "E" train there and walk out of the subway.


When you arrive up-stairs and come out of the subway station at the street level, walk down 8th Avenue in the downtown direction (ask anyone: Which way is "Down-town?". After walking 3 minutes you will arrive at # 370 8th Avenue (between 29th and 28 Streets). You made it! 

EWR (Newark Liberty) ✈

The easiest way to come here from the Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) is by taking a taxi (or UBER) . The cost is about $90-100. IMPORTANT: Avoid private transportation offers from strangers. Only use official airport taxi service. You may like to book a shuttle van/bus service to Manhattan at https://www.goairlinkshuttle.com

To come here from Newark Liberty airport by subway, here is some directions for you:

First, obviously, get off your plane. (Whether you come by taxi or by subway, it's a very important step to first get off your plane). Then, go out of the airport terminal. Right in front of your airport terminal ask for a bus towards Newark Penn station. Take the bus and get off at the Newark Penn station.


At Newark Penn station take the "Northeast corridor" train towards New York Penn station. After 35 minutes of riding on the "Northeast corridor" train, you will come to the "New York Penn station" station.


When you arrive up-stairs and come out of the New York Penn Station station at the street level, walk down-town on 8th Avenue (ask anyone:  Which way is "Down-town?". After walking 3 minutes you will arrive at # 370 8th Avenue (between 29th and 28 Streets). You made it!

LGA ✈

The easiest way to come here from the LaGuardia airport (LGA) is by taking a taxi (or UBER). The cost should be around $50. IMPORTANT: avoid private transportation offers from strangers. Only use official yellow cabs or authorized airport shuttle service.

To get here by subway from LaGuardia (LGA) airport: First, obviously, get off your plane (I've noticed that it's very important to first get off the airplane).

When you get outside the airport terminal, right in front of the airport terminal get on the Q33 bus and after riding 20 minutes get off at 'Victor Moore term' bus stop (ask the driver). Then find 'Roosevelt avenue - Jackson Heights' subway station and take the E train going to Manhattan. Get off at '34th street Penn station' subway stop.


When you are on the street level - walk down 8th avenue: we are at #370 8th avenue, between 29th and 28th streets. You made it!
